At any counter of a cosmetics shop, testers for foundation are available. You get three stages of coverage. Light, medium and Full coverage. It always depends on the occasion what type of coverage I want. I love full coverage, because I want my look to stay all day. However, with the heat, my face can run all the make up off. Baking my make up (applying powder to set the foundation) is an option, however it does not always work for all the skin types. I invest in a good translucent powder but pressed powder works wonders.
A setting spray & primer are what works for me. As I do my make up, I would first moisturize my skin, apply a primer as this ensures longevity of my foundation, apply my foundation and continuously throughout my face beat, set every step with setting spray. For a more cost effective spray, i find that hairspray does the trick. It sets my face, just remember to close your mouth & eyes when spraying of course! Baby powder works as an exceptional dupe to translucent loose powder, which I always use only on the parts of my face where I sweat a little more (forehead, upper lip, smile lines next to nose).
I LOVE a glowy, dewy look and during the summer I don't even wear highlighter because the weather just dews up my face, but for an extra pop, add that highlighter!
